The Legal Stuff

Only one bonus offer available per person. Bonuses are available only to new members who do not have an active checking or savings account with Verve at the time of account opening and who have been invited to open a new Verve Essential, Premier, or Optimum Checking account with the Promo Code. You must be eligible and qualify for membership at Verve, a Credit Union. You must purchase and maintain one required share at par value of $5.00 in a savings account.

To earn up to $1,000, meet the following requirements:

$200 Opening Bonus: Open a checking account and complete qualifying ACH direct deposits into the checking totaling at least $1,000 within the first two full calendar months of account opening. Payment will be made within 30 days following the end of the qualification period.
$400 Three Month Balance Bonus: Maintain an average monthly balance of at least $10,000 in qualifying deposit accounts (checking, savings, money markets, certificates, IRAs, and HSAs) for the first three full calendar months of account opening. Balances will be reviewed monthly. Payment will then be made within 30 days following the end of the qualification period.
$400 Twelve Month Balance Bonus: Maintain an average monthly balance of at least $10,000 in qualifying deposit accounts (checking, savings, money markets, certificates, IRAs, and HSAs) through 12 full calendar months of account opening. Payment will then be made within 30 days following the end of the qualification period.

Verve checking account must be open and in good standing at time of payment. Bonus payment is considered interest and reported on IRS Form 1099-INT. If qualifications are met each monthly qualification cycle: Daily balances up to $10,000.00 will earn 2.50% APY and daily balances of $10,000.01 and greater will earn an APY range of 2.50% to 0.48%. If qualifications are not met, all balances will earn 0.25% APY and ATM fee refund does not apply. Dividends are compounded and paid monthly. Minimum balance to avoid a $15.00 monthly service fee is $10,000.00 combined deposit account average daily balance or a current Verve Credit Card holder.

Verve Premier Checking: Qualifications for higher APY and ATM fee refund up to $10 maximum credit (up to $5 per ATM transaction) are 1) ACH direct deposits totaling at least $500.00 into checking, 2) a valid email address, and 3) enrollment and receipt of e-statements. If qualifications are met each monthly qualification cycle: Daily balances will earn 0.25% APY. If qualifications are not met, all balances will earn 0.10% APY and ATM fee refund does not apply. Dividends are compounded and paid monthly. Minimum balance to avoid a $5.00 monthly service fee is $2,000.00 combined deposit account average daily balance or a current Verve Credit Card holder.

Verve Essential Checking: Non-dividend bearing checking account. No minimum balance, no monthly service fees, no check writing privileges, no overdraft/NSF fees.
