Online banking makes it easy to quickly check your account balances or payment due dates. But did you know that Verve’s online banking offers other convenient functions to help you track and manage your money right from your phone or computer?

Early Pay

If you receive your paychecks through direct deposit, you may be eligible to get paid quicker. Under the Services tab on your online banking homepage, you’ll see an option to turn on Early Pay. This is not an advance or a function that will impact your credit in any way. It’s just Verve giving you access to your direct deposit funds a day or two earlier by removing the typical pending period that you normally must wait for before available funds post to your account.

Overdraft Protection

Under the Services section, you can view our Overdraft Protection options. Opting in means that if you overdraw your account using your debit card for one-time debit card and ATM transactions, you are willing to accept any penalties or fees associated with those events. In other words, your card will still be approved, and you will be able to complete your purchase—but you will be charged overdraft fees. Opting out, on the other hand, means that your debit card will be declined if you have insufficient funds to cover the amount of a transaction. In this case, your card will not allow you to complete your purchase, thus avoiding any fees.

Schedule Appointments

Under Help + Settings, you can Schedule an Appointment with one of our member specialists. From auto or RV loans to credit cards, IRAs, debt consolidation, or just a financial check-in to answer your questions about what your next step should be, we are here to help. Find a time that fits into your busy schedule and take advantage of the knowledge and experience we have to offer our members.

Link Accounts

We know that it’s not uncommon for members to utilize products and/or services at other financial institutions. That’s why we make it simple to link external accounts to your Verve account, so you can transfer funds in or out right from your dashboard.

Block Debit Cards

It happens to the best of us: You lose your wallet or drop your debit card while you’re out and about, or your information is compromised, and you need to act fast to prevent fraudulent charges. Under Accounts and Card Management, you can easily switch off your debit card to block all activity while you search for it, or have a new one made.
