Giving back—and bringing the community together—is really important to Verve team members. In fact, it’s one of the seven guiding principles we live by. That’s why we were proud to sponsor the photo booth at the 7th Annual Cuisine for a Cause event in Oshkosh on March 15.
Hosted by Rebuilding Together Fox Valley (RBFV), this tasty fundraiser featured seven teams of local celebrities and their chef partners competing for a range of awards. All $71,000 in proceeds goes to help low-income Fox Valley families stay safe, warm and independent in their own homes.
Investing in the community, one photo at a time.
We brought our own secret recipe to Cuisine for a Cause—a fun and prop-filled photo booth. The cherry on top? A donation to RBFV for every photo taken! We had a blast interacting with the 411 guests who helped raise more than $71,000 to help Fox Valley residents. In 2018, RBFV helped 78 people by completing nearly 50 projects through the help of 426 volunteers.
Funds from this year’s event will help fund National Rebuilding Day on Saturday, April 27 when more than 400 volunteers will help complete 12 home repair projects.
We love seeing people come together to help those in need right here in our community. We know when we invest time (and have a little fun) in our communities, we make them stronger, better places to live, work and worship.
