Want to add an extra layer of protection to your account? Add a code word—a combination of up to 16 numbers and letters that only you know—for our team members to help verify it’s really you when you call or stop in to take care of your banking needs.
To add a code word to your account, go to the Info Center tab in online banking, click on personal information and follow the on-screen prompts. You can also set or change your code word by visiting one of our 15 locations, or calling 800.448.9228 and selecting option 4. After our team member has confirmed it’s really you (through your ID if you visit one of our branches, or by asking a series of questions), you can add a code word to your account.
Set a code word that’s easy to remember, but hard for a fraudster to guess, such as the city you got married in, your pet’s name, your middle name spelled backwards, etc. We can also set up a hint to help you remember your code word.
