Five of Verve’s branches transformed into Santa’s workshop for our “Holiday Fun for the Family” event series last month—it was a heartwarming success! One hundred and fifty-eight children with family members came out to see Saint Nick, hear a story, decorate cookies and more, and all proceeds went to the Children’s Hospital, bringing holiday cheer to pint-sized patients throughout Wisconsin.

One hundred and fifty-eight children with family members came out to see Saint Nick, hear a story, decorate cookies and more, and all proceeds went to the Children’s Hospital, bringing holiday cheer to pint-sized patients throughout Wisconsin.

Special thanks to Piggly Wiggly, Tadych’s Econo Foods – Brillion, The Pastry Pixie and Kathy’s Cookie Company, whose cookie contributions made for some delicious decorating. And, thank you to Santa himself—wink wink—who took time out of his busy North Pole schedule to make a difference in families’ lives. No really, we owe the success of our fundraiser to the dedication of our Santa volunteers.

The end of the year is a time for giving, and the contagious goodwill of the holidays helps us break our routines to give back to the community. Let’s keep the ball rolling into 2017!
