Run, Jog or Stroll to Provide a Better Future for La Crosse-area Kids

The goal was simple: bring the Onalaska community together for a memory-filled weekend with NO admission fees.

Join Verve at the Glow in the Deke Run/Walk on Saturday, September 15 at Maple Grove Venues (W4142 CTH B in West Salem) near La Crosse. All proceeds from the race benefit the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater La Crosse.

Every $20 raised by the race, which was organized in memory of avid youth supporter and BGC staff member Derrick “Deke” Kroll, covers a child’s entire BGC membership fee for one year.

• 5:00-7:30 p.m.   Free Family Festival with bounce houses, face painting, games and more
• 6:30 p.m.          Blue Moon 1K ($25/person) with four beer tastings (21+)
• 7:30 p.m.          Deke’s Dash Youth Race (free)
• 8:00 p.m.           Glow in the Deke 5K ($10 for youth 17 and under, $25 for adults)
• 8:30 p.m.          After Glow Party with food trucks and live music
• 9:00 p.m.          Screen on the Green for a movie under the stars
