Verve, a Credit Union, is pleased to announce the hire of Cari Larsen as Controller. Larsen comes to Verve from Byline Bank, where she served as Vice President and Accounting Manager. She has over twenty years’ experience in finance and accounting, including fifteen in senior leadership positions.

As Controller, Larsen will be responsible for working with Verve’s accounting teams to review and finetune financial policies and develop reliable procedures, controls, and reporting systems.

In addition to Byline Bank, Larsen has experience as Vice President-Controller at Investors Community Bank in Manitowoc, Accounting Manager at Orion Energy Systems, Inc., and Director of Accounting at Broadwind Towers and Heavy Industries, Inc. She earned her BBA in Accounting from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire and her Executive Leadership Certificate from the University of Wisconsin-Madison’s School of Business, where she was recognized with high honors and scored in the top 5% of her class.
