In true Verve-spirit, when challenges arise, we seek to find a way to help.

When organizations in the communities we serve saw hardships like never before due to the coronavirus pandemic, we pledged $50,000 in matched donations to community foundations and dedicated COVID-19 relief funds.

And the response was overwhelming.

Together, Verve and community members pumped nearly $142,000 into local nonprofits:

“We’re moved by the astonishing response made by hundreds of individuals, organizations and businesses like Verve during this COVID-19 pandemic,” said Curt Detjen, president and CEO of the Community Foundation for the Fox Valley Region. “Verve also went one step further and challenged the community to rally behind the nonprofits across the state and we are grateful for their support—financially and for raising awareness of the community response fund.”

Verve’s commitment to serving the community goes well beyond helping its members take care of personal and business financial needs—it extends into providing financial support to programs and organizations that help keep our communities strong.

“These community foundations and funds provide financial resources to nonprofit organizations that provide various services vital to maintaining strong, robust communities,” said Kevin J. Ralofsky, Verve, a Credit Union, CEO and president. “I am beyond proud of how our communities united around our nonprofits and provided financial support so they can continue to offer their much-needed services now and into the future.”

In addition to its matching donation program for community foundations and dedicated funds, Verve offers a variety of relief options for individuals and businesses through its Let’s All Do This program. To learn more about the program, visit, verveacu.com/letsalldothis.
