It’s not Oktoberfest without the annual Torchlight Parade on Thursday, September 27. The parade kicks off at 7 p.m. at the intersection of Kane and Gillette Streets and ends on La Crosse’s north side.
Watch for our orange parade car all decked out with lights, and with Verve team members handing out glow sticks, bead necklaces, can koozies, kids’ tattoos and more.
As part of our commitment to investing in our communities, we’re excited to be part of the parade! Nothing makes us beam brighter than seeing our communities coming together to have fun.
Orange You Glad it’s Almost Oktoberfest?
Verve is proud to participate in the La Crosse area’s beloved Oktoberfest USA, happening September 27-30. Don’t miss this chance to tap into fun for the whole family and raise a stein to old-world, German traditions. Started in 1961 and inspired by the 200-year-old Bavarian festival of the same name, this weekend of good-ol’-fashioned merrymaking offers the community a chance to come together to boost spirits and celebrate the transition into fall.
Don’t miss the keg tapping!
Visit the Verve Main Street branch (311 Main Street) on Saturday, September 28 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. for fun games, music, Verve Oktoberfest gloves and Oktoberfest-style snacks, and then head over to the much-anticipated tapping of the golden keg at 11 a.m.
Cheers to a Tight-knit Community!
Community involvement is really important to us, and we’re always looking for energetic and enthusiastic ways to give back. What better opportunity than Oktoberfest USA, right? At the end of the day, it’s our mission to help community members live life to the fullest, and if that means helping put on an awesome fall festival, well, we’ll say “Prost!” to that.
