Orange is everywhere this time of year: falling leaves, jack-o-lanterns…and Verve! Our Random Acts of Verve (RAV) team made appearances in September and October, spreading warm-hearted kindness as the season gets cooler. Assembled in the spirit of “people helping people,” RAV visits hardworking community members and local businesses to pay for customers’ purchases or give gifts or words of encouragement to everyday workers.
A Quick Hop Over to Stone Toad in Menasha
The RAV crew took a hop, skip and jump over to Stone Toad Bar & Grill in Menasha in September and bought lunch for ten lucky diners. No stony spirits at this much-loved Menasha spot!
Crossing paths at Railway Junction in Forest Junction
In October, RAV went to the Railway Junction Restaurant in Forest Junction just outside of Brillion. This hidden gem of a restaurant is famous for its homemade pies and family-style servings. We picked up the tab for 30 hungry diners.
A surprise appearance at Zooloween Boo in Oshkosh
On October 16, RAV gave trick-or-treating families at the Zooloween Boo festival in Menominee Park in Oshkosh a surprise treat, paying for 65 children’s admissions.
Warm-Fuzzies are Always in Season
Because Community is one of our guiding 7 Cooperative Principles, Verve loves to stop by local establishments to show community members support through unique (and sometimes surprising) efforts. Performing Random Acts of Verve is just one way our team members help create a strong community built on kindness.
