Giving back—and having fun while bringing others together to rally around a community organization—is really important to Verve. So important, in fact, that Community is one of our seven guiding principles. That’s why we were proud to sponsor prizes at the La Crosse and Appleton Bowl for Kids’ Sake Big Brothers Big Sisters fundraisers.
Bowl for Kids’ Sake is an annual fundraiser held in cities throughout the U.S. to raise money for background checks and ongoing family support to help ensure safety for children and youth participating in Big Brothers Big Sisters. In La Crosse and Appleton, teams of bowlers gathered to raise more than $82,000!
Verve cheered on the teams with high-fives, glow sticks and prizes for any bowler who got a strike when the orange pin was out.
We were proud to be part of an event that has such a positive impact on the community. It was so much fun to see 294 bowlers hit the lanes to raise $82,000 for Big Brothers Big Sisters!
