We know that financial literacy is one of the building blocks of a strong community, and helping educate our youth on key financial topics is right in line with our guiding seven Cooperative Principles.

That’s why we were thrilled to give Cub Scout Pack 3932 of Manitowoc County a tour of our Two Rivers branch in April.

Six scouts and their leaders joined us for a hands-on tour, participating in activities ranging from filling out a deposit slip to signing for a loan to finding coins hidden throughout the branch. We had a blast teaching kids about being smart with their money, as well as answering questions about how a credit union works.
