Our Random Acts of Verve teams have been popping up to pay it forward and fill our community with positivity.
It’s sweet, sweet summertime, which means spending time with family and friends soaking up the sun, eating hot dogs and enjoying some ice cream. Our Random Acts of Verve crews have been busy this summer, stopping by local businesses to share the love for our communities.
I scream, you scream, we all scream for (Lamers Dairy) ice cream!
Team members from our Oneida Street branch stopped by Lamers Dairy in Appleton to brighten the day for a few guests by paying for their ice cream. To top the day off with whipped cream and a cherry, Lamers Dairy donated a portion of their sales to St. Joseph’s Food Pantry.
It’s taco time.
Team members from our Universal Street branch stopped by Paloma Restaurant to give cash to a few diners to use toward their meals. Talk about a great way to support the community and boost a new, local restaurant.
Two concession-stand home runs.
Team members from our Two Rivers branch stopped by Citizen Park in Manitowoc during an evening of youth baseball games to surprise people at the concession stand by paying for their purchases. Music lovers at River City Rhapsody were also delighted at the concession stand when team members from our La Crosse, Holmen and Onalaska branches paid for their purchases. There were burgers and smiles all around.
We’ve got the bill covered. Team members from our Sherwood branch surprised diners at The Outpost by paying for their meals. Five families enjoyed a meal on Verve, and there was no shortage of “thank yous,” smiles and laughter shared around the table.
Because Community is one of our guiding 7 Cooperative Principles, Verve loves lifting community members’ spirits through unique (and sometimes surprising) efforts. Performing Random Acts of Verve is just one way our team members help create a strong community built on kindness.
