Verve, a Credit Union, is pleased to announce the promotion of Allison Bucciferro to Vice President of Accounting and Finance. Bucciferro joined Verve in 2011 and has been leading the finance team since 2018. In bringing the accounting and finance teams together, Bucciferro will now be responsible for maximizing systems and efficiencies in both functions, including payments systems.
Bucciferro has been instrumental in a variety of complex projects at Verve such as the South Central Bank acquisition and recent technology upgrade.
“Though accounting and finance often operate in the shadows, they are a critical component of a successful and growing credit union. Stewardship of our members’ resources and financial integrity is extremely important.” said Scott Wilmott, CFO. “I am excited to see these functions come together to challenge the status quo and leverage best-in-class technology to deliver an elevated experience for both members and team members.”
Bucciferro’s financial management strategies have been an integral part of Verve’s growth trajectory, playing a key role in Verve’s financial reporting and future planning, consistently putting the membership first. Her analytical strengths and the way she relates to both member and team member experiences alike make her a trusted leader within the credit union. Verve is thrilled to see a leader with longevity with the credit union, who continues to surpass expectations, grow to one of the highest levels of leadership.
“I am honored to step into this role and unite these talented teams.” said Bucciferro. “I look forward to working together to realize efficiencies and continue to maximize Verve’s new technology platform by delivering a more seamless experience that exceeds expectations.”
