At Verve, we like to view ourselves as more than a financial institution. We consider ourselves neighbors. We live, work and play in our communities, and that’s why we invest so much time and energy into helping others and supporting you.
Supporting and engaging with our communities
By finding meaningful ways to help others and going out into the community, we get to show our members that we really do listen (and we bring energy and enthusiasm that exceeds expectations).
In 2019, Verve participated in 351 events and performed 39 unexpected, small gestures of kindness we like to call Random Acts of Verve. Even simple gestures like providing community members with gasoline gift cards, free meals and school supplies had a lasting impact.
Our community engagement doesn’t stop there. We hosted and partnered with several organizations and schools to help teach our youth about finances. Activities included piggy bank workshops where we teach local children how to save, spend and give, partnering with local schools to help sponsor their homecomings and fairs, and taking part in Habitat for Humanity’s Rock the Block event. We love supporting worthy causes alongside our fellow community members.

While our 2020 community engagement will look a little different, we know that together we will help each other through whatever challenges lie ahead. We will become stronger, better and filled with more compassion, too.
