It’s no coincidence. Verve has been named one of Credit Union Journal’s Best Credit Unions to Work For —not once, not twice, but for the third year in a row.
Empowering our team members to be their best selves and bring passion and enthusiasm to their work is the cornerstone of Verve’s workplace culture, and we’re proud to be recognized for our commitment to our team year after year.
We owe it to our team of servant leaders.
Seventy-five percent of our ranking in the nationwide list is based on feedback our team members provided in a voluntary survey (did we mention we had 70% of our team members participate?!). Team members rated Verve on a series of statements and answered open-ended and demographic questions. The award application also included a 30-page questionnaire on benefits and policies that the credit union submitted.
The work environment at Verve has some unique aspects that we’re excited to receive recognition for, including servant-leadership training, a robust wellness program that facilitates morning team stretching sessions and more, casual dress days that raise money for charity, and the opportunity to participate in random acts of kindness known as Random Acts of Verve.
An engaged team means a richer experience for our members.
We work to create a workplace culture of inspiration and action, which then translates to the unparalleled service and ingenious product offerings that our members have come to expect.
“When Verve team members feel empowered to share their talents, an engaged workplace follows naturally,” Kevin J. Ralofsky, president and CEO of Verve, said. “We’re so happy to be recognized by Credit Union Journal for a third year, and even prouder that our culture of servant leadership leads to an even better experience for our members.”
