At Verve, we’re all about fun and community; it is one of our guiding 7 Cooperative Principles after all. What better way to bring people together and celebrate community than through homecoming festivities. Our Verve team members took part in homecoming celebrations at Viterbo and Marian universities, and Oshkosh North, West and Lourdes high schools.

Viterbo students snagged Verve swag at the Welcome Back Bash.

We had a blast interacting with more than 2,000 Viterbo University students and helping them kickoff the school year at the Welcome Back Bash. Students had a chance to spin the wheel and win Verve gear while they learned about all the perks of becoming part of a member-owned cooperative.

We danced our way to the first day of classes at Oshkosh North.

Yeah, Eh-Eh, Eh-Eh-Eh. It’s a (dance) party in the Oshkosh North entry way. We joined the Oshkosh North Student Council and B-104.7 radio to show students that the first day of school can be exhilarating and fun. We brought our CUBE truck, blasted the radio and started an epic dance party, complete with plenty of snacks and water bottles, near the front doors.

Lourdes students raise funds by throwing pies.

Verve sponsored the Oshkosh Lourdes Homecoming Picnic, complete with a pie-in-the-face fundraiser. Attendees purchased pies to throw at their favorite teacher, and Verve added to the fun with our CUBE truck loaded with yard games, music and free pumpkin spice coffee.

We added a little Verve to the Oshkosh West parade.

We were honored to be invited as a guest in the Oshkosh West homecoming parade, so we thought we’d amp up the day by surprising students with more than 200 free orange dream ice cream floats. We played music and yard games by the CUBE as we watched the floats line up and make their way to Titan Stadium.

Yum! Free orange floats at Marian’s homecoming.

We brought one of our favorite Verve treats—orange dream ice cream floats—to sweeten Marian University’s homecoming festivities. We also brought our CUBE truck and blasted fun music while we played yard games with students, faculty, staff and alumni.

A touchdown for a tight-knit community.

Community is one of our guiding 7 Cooperative Principles, and participating in homecoming events like these is all about creating memorable experiences that bring our community together. That’s a win-win for everyone.
