Bring your family and friends to Copeland Park on Friday, July 14 and Saturday, July 15 for the Big Blue Dragon Boat Festival.
Bring your family and friends to Copeland Park (1130 Copeland Park Drive, La Crosse) on Friday, July 14 and Saturday, July 15 for the Big Blue Dragon Boat Festival hosted by Mayo Clinic Health System-Franciscan Healthcare. Teams of 20 paddlers follow the beat of their drummer to paddle in synchrony in hopes of crossing the finish line first in their 40-foot dragon boat. All proceeds from the event support breast cancer diagnosis and treatment.
Look for our orange shirts and smiling faces.
We’ve rounded up a team of our 20 best paddlers and one drummer to compete in the dragon boat races on Saturday, July 15. When we’re not racing, we’ll be enjoying festival music and food, and playing games with festival-goers at our Verve tent. If you’re not sold yet, admission is FREE!
Not only is the Big Blue Dragon Boat Festival a great way to get some exercise and work as a team, it’s also a fun way to come together as a community to support breast cancer diagnosis and treatment. We know that when we invest in our communities, we make them a healthier and better place to live, work and worship in—that’s why we’re proud to paddle in the dragon boat races.
