Oshkosh West hosted the 3rd C.A.R.E. (Celebrating Abilities, Rallying Everyone) Days event on Wednesday, May 17, featuring a track meet and carnival to bring together and celebrate students of ALL abilities from Oshkosh Area School District’s schools. Students in the district’s K-12 Adapted Physical Education programs paired up with high school students from Oshkosh North and West to compete in track and field events, play carnival games and activities, and most importantly, build new relationships.

Verve was lucky enough to attend this powerful event and add to the fun by putting on a Merv bobblehead scavenger hunt with prizes.

Creating a fun, inclusive learning environment is the foundation for a strong community—one we’re proud to be a part of. Serving and investing in our communities is really important to us, and we were honored to take part in the C.A.R.E. Days event and watch as students gained a new perspective and appreciation for different ability levels.
