“Chuck-A-Puck” with Verve on Saturday, February 18, for a chance to win cash while supporting Marian Athletics.

As part of Verve’s commitment to supporting community organizations, Verve is sponsoring the “Chuck-A-Puck” fundraiser at the February 18 Marian University Sabres Men’s Ice Hockey game, with all proceeds benefiting the Sabres.

Investing in and serving the community is really important to us, and we’re always looking for ways to roll up our sleeves and get involved. What better opportunity than supporting a local team, enjoying a hockey game AND trying your luck at “Chuck-A-Puck?”

You game? Here’s what you need to do:

1. Come support the Marian University Sabres Men’s Ice Hockey team as they take on the Aurora University Spartans at 4 p.m. on Saturday, February 18, at Blue Line Family Ice Center, 550 Fond du Lac Ave. in Fond du Lac.
2. Buy as many pucks as you’d like to chuck. You can buy 1 for $1 or 6 for $5. The more pucks you buy, the more chances you’ll have to win!
3. At the end of the second intermission, we’ll place a target on the center of the ice, and everyone who purchased a puck can throw it onto the ice.
4. Get your puck to land closest to the center of the target and you will win $100, second closest will win $65 and third closest will win $25. Winners will be announced at the end of second intermission.
