DATES OF “MERV ON THE SHELF” “COMMENT-TO-ENTER” CONTESTS: The Contest posts will be open for “comment-to-enter” on the Verve, a Credit Union, main page on the following dates:

• Giveaway #1 – Merv on the Shelf contest post #1: 11/14/2022 – 11/21/2022
• Giveaway #2 – Merv on the Shelf contest post #2: 12/05/2022 – 12/12/2022

These dates reflect the (“Contest Period”) for each comment-to-enter post.

ELIGIBILITY: These “comment-to-enter” Contests (the “Contest”) are open to all persons eighteen (18) years of age or older and who reside in Wisconsin (the “Entrant”). The Contest is subject to all federal, state, and local laws and regulations. This Contest is void outside of WI. By entering this Contest, Entrants indicate their full and unconditional agreement to, and acceptance of, these Official Rules and the decisions of Verve, a Credit Union (“the Sponsor”).

HOW TO PARTICIPATE: Entrants can enter the Contest by going to the main page for Verve, a Credit Union and commenting (the “Comment”) on any of the Merv on the Shelf contest posts during the valid contest times specified for each post during the Contest Period. Merv on the Shelf contest posts will have #NutcrackerintheCastle to denote it’s an official contest post. There is a limit of one (1) comment per post per Merv on the Shelf contest post per Entrant during the Contest Period.

This Contest is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Facebook. You understand that you are supplying your information to the Sponsor and not to Facebook.

ADDITIONAL CONDITIONS: Entrant’s original Comment cannot infringe on the intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights or any other legal or moral rights of any third party. Comments not meeting the requirements as set forth in these Official Rules or that contain prohibited, inappropriate, or irrelevant content, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion, will not be eligible and will be disqualified. The Released Parties (defined in the “NO LIABILITY” section below) are not responsible for any Comment that is lost, late, misdirected or undeliverable, whether due to system errors, omissions, interruptions, deletions, defects, delays in operation or transmissions or any other reason, theft or destruction or failures, faulty transmissions or other telecommunication malfunctions. Comments not received resulting from any hardware or software failures of any kind, lost or unavailable network connections, failed, incomplete or garbled computer or telephone transmissions, typographical or system errors and failures, technical malfunctions, or otherwise.

By participating, Entrant agrees that their Comment may be shared on social media sites or other websites by the Sponsor.

By submitting a Comment, Entrant grants Sponsor and its affiliated companies worldwide, non-exclusive, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free, unconditional, and fully paid-up rights to publicly perform, display, broadcast, or transmit the Submission, in whole or in part, for promotion and marketing purposes worldwide in any and all forms of media, whether now known or hereafter devised and to distribute (directly or indirectly through multiple tiers) the Comment Submission to Sponsor’s affiliates, its marketing agencies, and to third parties for these purposes.

WINNING: On or about November 22, 2022, two (2) winners will be selected from among all eligible Comments received on Giveaway #1 during the Contest Period. On or about December 13, 2022, two (2) winners will be selected from among all eligible Comments received on Giveaway #2 during the Contest Period. The selection will be conducted by a Sponsor representative with the assistance of a random selection tool called Woobox, whose decisions are based upon its sole discretion and interpretation of these Official Rules, and are final and binding in all respects. Winners will be notified via the Notifications/Claims listed below and must reply back to claim their prize within 48 hours of being notified as a winner.

PRIZES: Each “comment-to-enter” post giveaway will consist of one (1) winner winning one (1) $50 Visa gift card and one (1) family membership which provides free admission for two adults and accompanying children to the mansion, gardens, and exhibitions, as well as Nutcracker in the Castle for 1 year. Four (4) $50 Visa Gift Cards and four (4) family memberships in total will be distributed.

NOTIFICATIONS/CLAIMS: POTENTIAL PRIZE WINNERS WILL BE NOTIFIED BY THE SPONSOR VIA THE METHOD DESCRIBED BELOW (THE “NOTIFICATION”).

1. Comment Notification: Such potential prize winner will be notified via a comment on their initial Comment during each contest.
2. Direct Message: Such potential prize winner will also be notified via direct message on the Facebook Messenger platform.

The prize winner consents to the use of the prize winner’s name for purposes of advertising, promotion and publicity, for this Contest only, without further compensation, unless prohibited by law.

NO LIABILITY: By participating, Entrants and prize winners agree to release, discharge, indemnify and hold harmless the Sponsor, Facebook, the Contest Entities, and each of their respective officers, directors, employees, representatives and agents (collectively, the “Released Parties”) from and against any claims made by a prize winner, Entrants, or any other third parties, related in any way to the operation of this Contest as well as any other claims, damages or liability due to any injuries, damages or losses to any person (including death) or property of any kind resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from receipt, acceptance, possession, misuse or use of a prize; participation in any Contest-related activity; or participation in this Contest.
