DATES OF “WHERE’S MERV” CONTEST: The Contest begins on August 6, 2020 and ends on August 16, 2020 (“Contest Period”).

ELIGIBILITY: This Giveaway (the “Contest”) is only open to legal residents who are eighteen (18) years of age or older and reside in the United States (the “Entrant”). The Contest is subject to all federal, state, and local laws and regulations. This Contest is void outside of WI. By entering this Contest, Entrants indicate their full and unconditional agreement to, and acceptance of, these Official Rules and the decisions of Verve, a Credit Union (the Sponsor”.)

HOW TO PARTICIPATE: Entrants can enter the Contest one of two ways. (1) Entrants can fill out a paper entry (the “Paper Submission”) to leave at a participating house of the Eastern Ridge Parade of Homes. (2) Entrants can receive an additional BONUS entry by posting a photo (the “Digital Submission”) of themselves with a Merv bobblehead at the Eastern Ridge Parade of Homes between August 6, 2020 and August 16, 2020 in the comment section of the Eastern Ridge Parade of Homes “Where’s Merv” Contest post on the Verve, a Credit Union main Facebook page. There is a limit of one (1) BONUS Digital Submission per Entrant during the Contest Period.

Submitting a photo for 1 BONUS Digital Submission via Facebook: Entrant must visit facebook.com/verveacu to access the Contest post. Then, Entrant must upload his/her photo via comment to the Contest post to receive one (1) BONUS Digital Submission into the Contest. Entrant may not use multiple Facebook accounts to enter. Limit (1) BONUS Digital Submission per Entrant.

This Contest is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Facebook. You understand that you are supplying your information to the Sponsor and not to Facebook.

SUBMISSION RESTRICTIONS: Photo Digital Submissions must be submitted in compliance with the formatting and other requirements set forth on Facebook.

ADDITIONAL CONDITIONS: Entrant’s original photo Digital Submission cannot infringe on the intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights or any other legal or moral rights of any third party. Digital Submissions not meeting the requirements as set forth in

these Official Rules or that contain prohibited, inappropriate, or irrelevant content, as

determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion, will not be eligible and will be disqualified. The Released Parties (defined in the “NO LIABILITY” section below) are not responsible for any Submission that is lost, late, misdirected or undeliverable, whether due to system errors, omissions, interruptions, deletions, defects, delays in operation or transmissions or any other reason, theft or destruction or failures, faulty transmissions or other telecommunication malfunctions, Submissions not received resulting from any hardware or software failures of any kind, lost or unavailable network connections, failed, incomplete or garbled computer or telephone transmissions, typographical or system errors and failures, technical malfunctions, or otherwise.

By participating, Entrant agrees that their Digital Submission may be shared on social media sites or other websites by the Sponsor.

By submitting a Digital Submission, Entrant grants Sponsor and its affiliated companies worldwide, non-exclusive, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free, unconditional, and fully paid-up rights to publicly perform, display, broadcast, or transmit the Submission, in whole or in part, for promotion and marketing purposes worldwide in any and all forms of media, whether now known or hereafter devised and to distribute (directly or indirectly through multiple tiers) the Digital Submission to Sponsor’s affiliates, its marketing agencies, and to third parties for these purposes. Without limiting the foregoing, each Entrant consents to have his/her Digital Submission, including photos, made available for public viewing and/or comment on the Internet.

WINNING: On or about August 17, 2020, one (1) grand prize winner will be selected from among all eligible entries received during the Contest Period. The random drawing will be conducted by a Sponsor representative, whose decisions are based upon its sole discretion and interpretation of these Official Rules, and are final and binding in all respects.

GRAND PRIZE: One (1) grand prize of a video doorbell

NOTIFICATIONS/CLAIMS: POTENTIAL PRIZE WINNERS WILL BE NOTIFIED BY THE SPONSOR VIA THE METHOD DESCRIBED BELOW

WITHIN ONE (1) TO TWO (2) BUSINESS DAYS FROM THE DRAWING (THE “NOTIFICATION”).

1. Facebook Notifications: Such potential prize winner will be notified via a comment on his/her Digital Submission. Potential prize winner must respond to the post within two (2) days of the posting date by sending a private message to the Sponsor’s Facebook page with specific personal information to include

his/her first name, last name, physical address, city, state, zip, and date of birth

along with the Facebook username.

The prize winner consents to the use of the prize winner’s name, address (city and state), biographical information, voice and/or likeness for purposes of advertising, promotion and publicity, for this Contest only, without further compensation, unless prohibited by law.

NO LIABILITY: By participating, Entrants and prize winners agree to release, discharge, indemnify and hold harmless the Sponsor, Facebook, the Contest Entities, and each of their respective officers, directors, employees, representatives and agents (collectively, the “Released Parties”) from and against any claims made by a prize winner, Entrants, or any other third parties, related in any way to the operation of this Contest as well as any other claims, damages or liability due to any injuries, damages or losses to any person (including death) or property of any kind resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from receipt, acceptance, possession, misuse or use of a prize; participation in any Contest-related activity; or participation in this Contest.
