Go for Gold alongside the Blue
Imagine running down nighttime streets in the crisp fall air. Red and blue lights are flashing. Sirens are wailing.
No, it’s not a Harrison Ford movie—it’s the annual Run with the Cops event in Oshkosh on Thursday, October 3 on the UW Oshkosh campus. Not only does this community night run feature a kids’ dash/obstacle course and a 5K run/walk with lights and sirens all along the route, but the officers also put on a law enforcement vehicle expo and—wait for it—a kids vs. cops donut hole eating contest! Don’t worry, it’s scheduled AFTER the kids’ race.
The cops won’t be the only ones lighting up this event. Verve will be there handing out orange glow sticks and pumping music out of our CUBE truck to give runners a boost of energy toward the finish line.
Let’s lace up and pound the pavement for a good cause.
We’re proud to be part of Run with the Cops, an event supporting Special Olympics Wisconsin.
