Local High Schools Go Head-to-Head in Clash of the Choirs

Watch local high school students compete for the $500 top prize in sacred, secular and choir’s choice categories as part of the annual Clash of the Choirs. Taking place at St. Mary Catholic High School Jane Bergstrom Fine Arts Education Center, this “Sing Off” and “American Idol” inspired singing competition gives local students a chance to win first, second and third place cash prizes to help fund their choir program. In addition to supporting these talented young artists, attendees will have a chance to win some awesome raffle prizes.

Verve is making things interesting with a bonus, friendly competition. We’re offering an additional $100 to one lucky choir who will be selected by the audience for displaying exceptional energy and enthusiasm, in other words: verve. Audience members can use their smart phone or a tablet, provided by us, to vote for the most deserving choir. It’s a competition within a competition!

We love when the community comes together to support each other—especially when it gives our local youth a chance to shine. We’re honored to participate in this event and encourage music education and creativity in our schools, not to mention, have a lot of fun in the process!
