The board has duly authorized that the election of Directors in 2026 be conducted according to Article V, Section 3 of the Credit Union’s Bylaws. There are three expiring terms in 2026. The Nominating Committee has nominated three (3) candidates for the 2026 election for full three-year terms.  

If you are interested in serving on the Board of Directors and would like to be considered for nomination, please declare your intentions IN WRITING by February 6, 2026, and send your resume to:

Qualifications for Board Membership

The Nominating Committee seeks individuals who can provide strong leadership and strategic oversight to help guide the Credit Union’s future. Serving on the Board is both an honor and a responsibility, and we encourage candidates who meet the following qualifications: 

Membership Requirements 

  • Be at least 18 years of age. 
  • If not currently a member, join the Credit Union within 10 days of election. 

Financial and Ethical Standards 

  • Be financially solvent and eligible for bonding (a standard requirement for financial institution roles). 
  • Demonstrate high ethical and moral standards. 
  • Have no conflicts of interest with the Credit Union. 

Knowledge and Skills 

  • Understand local and national regulatory requirements (e.g., NCUA and state credit union laws). 
  • Be familiar with economic and financial trends and their impact on Credit Union operations. 
    • Develop knowledge of key risks—credit, interest rate, liquidity, compliance, strategic, and reputational—and support effective risk management

Commitment to Service 

  • Be willing and able to attend monthly board meetings, committee sessions, planning meetings, and educational programs. 
  • Participate in conferences and self-study to stay informed and contribute effectively.
