Oshkosh Area United Way Day of Caring

Free breakfast, healthy snacks, a free T-shirt and giving back to the community in one day? Yes, please! Presented by Amcor and supported by SNC Manufacturing, Oshkosh Area United Way’s Day of Caring is a community-wide service opportunity taking place on Wednesday, May 4 with hundreds of volunteers working on a variety of projects throughout the City of Oshkosh.

We encourage our members to be part of this community-wide half-day event to lend a helping hand and have a little fun along the way in true Verve style. Examples of Day of Caring volunteer projects include landscaping, moving or assembling furniture, providing professional services to organizations in need and more.

The day kicks off with a free, delicious breakfast buffet in the morning at Best Western Convention Center in downtown Oshkosh featuring opening remarks from community leaders before volunteers depart for their assigned project locations. All volunteers will receive a free United Way T-shirt.

Verve associates will bring extra fun throughout the day and we hope you’ll join us! The Verve Cube, with music blasting for added energy and enthusiasm, will make its way around Oshkosh to volunteer locations and Verve energy stations will provide healthy snacks and water to volunteers at different sites.
